<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">In this field, insert the name of the currently selected macro or enter the name of a new macro.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-id value="HID_BASICIDE_MACROS" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">In this list field, the macros will be displayed which are contained in the <span class="T1">Macro from</span> module.</help:help-text> Click the macro you want to edit or view.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">In this list field, you can select a module you want to edit as macro or which you want to insert a new macro. If you want to record the macro in a particular file, you must first open the file.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Here you will see a description of the selected macro, if one has been entered.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">If you have selected a macro name in the Macro name field, you can click this button to execute a macro.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click here to access the <help:link Id="65748">Configuration</help:link> dialog, where you can assign a new macro to a menu, a key combination or an event.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Starts the Basic IDE and opens the selected macro module.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Deletes the selected entry or adds an entry if a new name is entered.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph">After you enter a new name in the <span class="T1">Macro name</span> field, click the <span class="T1">New</span> button to enter a new macro. The <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> Basic IDE appears and a text cursor in parentheses (Sub/ End Sub) indicates you can begin entering data.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">To delete a macro, select the respective <span class="T1">macro name</span> and click the <span class="T1">Delete...</span> button. A confirmation warning will appear before the macro is deleted from the source text.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">In the <span class="T1">Organize</span> dialog, you can manage existing modules, dialogs and libraries.</help:help-text> You can activate individual libraries, add or delete libraries, or define new ones. Modules and dialogs can be defined, edited and deleted here as well.</p>

<p class="Paragraph">Click <span class="T1">New Dialog</span> or <span class="T1">New Module</span>. You will be asked for a name for the new module or new dialog.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Here you can find a list of existing modules and dialogs in the application and open documents.</help:help-text> Select the dialog or module to edit an element, or select a library if you want to insert a new element.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">You can move and copy elements from this list box via drag & drop between the application and open documents.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">To move an entry, drag it to another position in the list box. An outline next to the cursor indicates where the entry will be inserted when you release the mouse button.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">To copy, press the <help:switch select="System" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="MAC">(Option) </help:case><help:default>(Alt)</help:default></help:switch> key while dragging.</p>

<p class="Paragraph">Macros stored as a separate file are not loaded automatically after starting <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname>, but rather must be activated manually or by another macro.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click here to open the <span class="T1">Add Libraries</span> dialog, where you can select an existing library to add to the list.</help:help-text> This dialog is similar to the <help:link Id="65703" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><span class="T1">Open</span></help:link> dialog. Select the desired library and click <span class="T1">Open</span>. In the <help:link Id="65702" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><span class="T1">Add Libraries</span></help:link> dialog, you can define further options.</p>
